COVID-19 UPDATE: March 2020
Later Life Living has had to temporarily close in line with Government Guidelines due to the COVID-19 outbreak. As soon as we are able to, we will re-open allowing your ‘cared for’ to either return or be welcomed into our care as a new member.
Those who are with us know that we offer a safe, warm, secure and very caring environment with a wide range of activities to keep your ‘cared for’ entertained, motivated and stimulated with confidence. For those who don’t know us, please feel free to call in or phone or email to arrange to meet us all when we reopen. We are very much looking forward to opening our doors again and allowing your loved ones to be looked after and cared for whilst you have a very much deserved, possibly needed, break.
Our hearts go out to all of those whose lives have been affected by this pandemic and we would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of the NHS staff and front line workers who do an amazing job by putting their lives at risk on a daily basis.
If you need any support during this very difficult time then please don’t suffer in silence; we are here to help and we are still taking your phone calls and emails, even if it’s just for a chat.

We received a very touching and heartwarming testimonial from Stacey Nealon, daughter of one of our clients Sylvia
My mum Sylvia attended later life living for 6 years. It was the highlight of her day the purpose of her getting up and dressed every day. The stimulation and entertainment she received was second to none. It started with a chance leaflet that my mother in law got.....and the rest is history. She also loved the Dementia cafe run by Kyra & Dawn. Syl is a sucker for live music and a dance and... you can guarantee you get that at Larkhill. Unfortunately Sylvia is now at the level of care where she requires a care home, and although she doesn’t know who I am anymore, she never fails to talk about “her day centre” and the “lovely Kyra”. Thank you for all the years Sylvia spent with you and your continued advice during the difficult last 6 months.
Stacey Nealon

Thank you to everyone who has donated to the Jacob's Gift appeal, didn't we do well!
June 2016
A big thank you to everyone who has donated to the Jacob's Gift appeal so far... What a wonderful start for our first week of collecting! We at Later Life Living, 2 Bordley Walk, Northern Moor (Monday to Friday 9am - 3.30pm) are a drop off point for anyone wishing to donate anything for Jacob's Gift Appeal.
Jacob's Gift
Jacob is a little boy with Crohn's disease. He and others are often in hospital for months at a time and the hospital has no funding for arts and crafts so Jacob's mum is (as she did last year) collecting any arts and crafts materials from anyone that may have anything to donate. All donations will go to the Starlight Ward at Wythenshawe Hospital.
Later Life Living Day Club for the Over 50's is a collection point to drop off any donated items. We already have two boxes full of art and crafts materials that we, at Later Life Living, and our lovely clients have donated.
If you have anything you would like to donate please feel free to contact us. Thank you!
